Wassup Y'all?! It's Moe The Majestic, Lady M.C. , Moe Money Moe Problems and I'm back B*tches.

I'm here to publish my first and last poem of 2025! This year has been wild af to say the least. From uncoupling with my very best friend, to loosing myself and finding myself. And finding healthy coping mechanisms over vices. This year has taught me an extensive amount about faith and self preservation.

So, without further ado...

Going Against The Grain

Why does my brain feel thrills when I go against the grain?

You see, my mind gets fixated on temporary highs that could potentially put me in a bind

All for me to simply find the shit that was already aligned in my subconscious mind...

Is it self sabotage or mental manipulation?

In translation, am I a masochist for thriving in the chaos & pain I furthermore sustain that creates a wasteland in my brain from going against this piercing grain ?!

Or is it a mental placebo that maneuvers my subconscious mind into believing that everything will turn out just fine?

Well, only time will tell. Highkey starting to feel stuck in my own personal hell because, it seems like the more I try; the more I fail. Gotta remember the scriptures my Grandparents tell...

"You're the head and not the tail!" So you can't let the bullshit that happens on your trail make you feel like you are destined to fail! You were always made to shine because you're a STAR and it is your birth right.

Even when you don't act right.

Even when your body has been stuck in fight or flight. And you try with ALL your might.

Even when your money isn't looking right.

Even when your fear outweighs your faith and you can't allow yourself grace.

Especially when your mind is in a dark place... Always remember to give yourself space to feel all the emotions you suppress and grace to help you address the mess. So you can soon climb your way to success!

Nevertheless, you possess all the positive things that are needed for personal gain. Blessings run warm through your veins. Even when you go against the grain...
