A Poesy With Moesy: Volume 1

Welcome back to my blog! I'm Moe The Majestic and this is A Poesy With Moesy. This is my new passion project that showcases poetry & spoken word by POC for POC!

I'm hella nervous because this is the very first time that I've shared my poems with the world! I hope this gives me the courage to one day perform my work live.

Okay y'all! This first poem is called "The Journey". So, to give a lil bit of a backstory; I'm tryna find myself again which can truly be a journey to say the least. But, without further ado; here's my poem.

"The Journey." By: The Majestic One

"I don't know if I feel lost, trapped or a combination of both.

Every time I feel my life progressing, I reach yet another road block.

I know it sounds unrealistic but, I want my life to be a beautiful straight & narrow path.

No Obstacles

No Naysayers

No Worries

Just to be free of all anxiety

Where my love gets reciprocity

I know that's wishful thinking

But, I pray that my well-being

Keeps my mind from fleeing
