A Poesy With Moesy: Birthday Edition!!

Grand Risings, Majestic Beings! It's ya girl Lady MC and I'm back with another poem. Now listen, this ain't just any old poem... Issa Birthday poem! Ya girl is one year older & wiser and I hope to pour that into my writing.

I'm grateful to my Higher Power for allowing me have a healthy birthday season this year!

2 years ago, I was in the hospital on my birthday due to my sickle cell so; this year I express my sincerest gratitude for good physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Ight, let's get into this poem!

The name of this poem is called "Here's to 24".

Here's to 24 by: Morgan Christina (The Majestic One)

Before 24 I wanted to learn more .

My life was a boar and my soul roared because I always knew that I deserved more.

So, my Higher Power told me to explore because my needs could no longer be ignored.

The words and actions of others left me sore & I no longer felt like living my life anymore but, God always has something greater in store!

When I knew I was ready for more, God allowed me to explore and almost instantly, my faith was restored.

Consistently remembering what my ancestors poured into me helped open doors galore and for that, I'm grateful evermore!

So, here's to 24 and may I continue to find everything I'm looking for.
